Why do we have Special Events
Sheridan House has a variety of special events throughout the year. The proceeds
of all special events allow Sheridan House to operate all aspects of our ministry…from
the Residential Program, to our Single Parent Ministry, to the Counseling Center
and beyond. What makes our special events so special is the true sense of community
that our events foster. Whether one is bidding on an item, playing a board game,
teeing off, or volunteering…they are guaranteed to have a great time interacting
with fellow donors, neighbors and friends while giving back to the Lord to impact
and empower over 90,000 lives each year!
Spring Auction
Laughter, praises, and paddles are raised annually at the Sheridan House Spring
Auction. With a variety of silent and live auction items beautifully displayed
for bidding, every family is sure to enjoy this exciting event. Join us and
witness local businesses, supporters, and volunteers rally together to make the
Lord’s vision for Sheridan House a reality.
MONOPOLY® Benefit Tournament
MONOPOLY®, mingling, and memories happen each year at the Sheridan House MONOPOLYy®
Benefit Tournament. This five star, formal event is specifically designed with enjoyment
in mind, including a fast-paced game of MONOPOLY®, fantastic entertainment, and
fabulous dining. From start to finish, every adult is bound to catch the spirit
and excitement of the child within, but more importantly, participants unite to
support children and families.
Golf Tournament and Celebration Banquet
Balls, energy, and spirits soar as the Annual Sheridan House Golf Tournament tees
off. Known as one of the largest non-celebrity golf tournaments in the nation, the
extraordinary thing one notices is the heart behind this 2-day event. With support from
sponsoring community businesses, families, and individuals; each participant savors
the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful day of golf at The Palm-Aire Country Club,
exciting competitions and door prizes, great silent auction items, and a delicious
dinner of Celebration at the Signature Grand Banquet Hall. The bountiful blessings
derived from this 2-day event give everyone a reason to celebrate!
